The FrigoKeg Barrel is constructed from two cautiously selected materials. The outer shell uses thermowood, a timber subjected to heat that resists moisture, warping, and Singapore's year-round humidity far better than ordinary wood. The inner vessel is formed from 304-grade stainless steel, offering strong corrosion resistance for long-term water contact. The XL variant uses a fibreglass inner vessel instead, offering a wider 89cm inner diameter for users over 187cm tall. Both variants come standard with an access step built into the engine cover, with an optional stair attachment available for easier entry and exit. A lockable insulated thermo cover is included to retain cold between sessions and keep the water clean from outdoor debris.
The FrigoKeg Barrel runs on the Frigoviq integrated cooling engine, a 1HP system drawing an average of 1.07 kW per day that maintains water temperature precisely between 3 and 38 degrees Celsius. The optional heater upgrade extends the range upward to 38 degrees, allowing the same barrel to function as a warm soak after cold sessions. Water is cleaned every six minutes through a 5-micron filtration system paired with a chemical-free ozone sanitizer, eliminating the need for chlorine or salt solutions that would corrode the stainless steel over time. The engine connects via Wi-Fi to the Frigoviq companion app, allowing full temperature control, session scheduling, and eco mode activation directly from your phone.
